“ Every dish was a delight. As a self proclaimed foodie I always look for kitchens that create culinary adventures, both aesthetically on the plate and on the palette. Workshop kitchen did not disappoint. I love new textures and flavor combinations. Be brave and try the thing! Our waiter Norma aka 'not so Normal' was fantastic and was able to describe each dish in detail. We will be coming back here! ”
“ Came here Saturday night around 930pm for a bday. 8 person party and got sat immediately. Plenty of street parking, not sure if they have their own lot. Definitely get yourself a reservation cause the patio was pretty packed and so was inside Just heard some Bruno mars/Anderson Paak on the stereo and it wasn't loud enough to distract but to notice Ordered the brussel sprout salad i thought was just Brussel sprout lol but it was a good thing. Walnuts, apples, almonds! This set the tone for tonight Leah was so fast serving drinks, appetizers and entrees and swapping out my wine for one i preferred more I didn't know what to expect from a burger here but it's a 9/10. This thing is flawless i wish i knew what they put in it and that i didn't come so full. Is this catsup or ketchup in it? It was good, but where's the option to ketchup? Lol. Fries really well seasoned I'm really disgusted with myself for filling up on water, wine and Brussels. Will be back here next time I'm in Palm Springs Confirmed it was a house made catsup lol) ”
“ Brilliant confessional seating that will rock your world! Get the pork chop and cabbage with all the flavors. ”
“ Had a wonderful meal last night at Workshop. The space is minimalist with concrete booths. The only issue was, the sound carries on all the hard surfaces and it was hard sometimes to converse .But we managed. Our server Jeff did an excellent job explaining the menu and certain dishes we asked about. cocktails are innovative and fun I had the Courtesan which was delicious , the others s had wine and the sour ale. food wise we started with The shaved Brussel sprout salad , The summer squash and the oyster mushrooms which were all excellent but the Oyster mushrooms stole the show they were crispy and had w wonderful buttermilk sauce. We then had the pizza which was a Calabrian chili with arugula and the steak au poivre and the Dry aged Flannery burger . all excellent . We really enjoyed our meal and will definitely be back. ”
“ The decor, the service and not to mention the food was just outstanding! Very unique food selections. Can't wait to try different items on the menu. ”
“ Best meal I've had in Palm Springs. Great high class environment and service. Very attentive, great communication and perfect on the pace. The food was even better. ”
“ During my first visit to Palm Springs, my boyfriend and I decided to plan our trip around delicious meals (which, I have to say, the town certainly outperforms itself on). While we ate well throughout the entire 3-day stay, there were several dishes at Workshop Bar & Kitchen that I'd been really looking forward to. The restaurant truly added their own twist to classic dishes, combining interesting ingredients to create a burst of mouth-watering flavor. I'll go into more detail with individual plates. We ordered 6 dishes (plus the bread service), served from lightest to richest. Their bread service had changed recently. I was disappointed that they no longer offered their truffle butter, but definitely enjoyed their plum-based concoction. The first plate was the octopus carpaccio. Great fresh beginner to an otherwise rich meal; it was citrusy and refreshing, with the perfect amount of olive oil and the unique addition of sweet red peppers. Worth a try. Next up, the two salads: one being the shaved Brussels sprouts salad and the other being the duck leg confit salad. I really wanted to love the Brussels sprouts salad, especially since it used dates, nuts, pears, and mint as part of its arsenal, but the execution wasn't great. I don't like goat cheese, but my boyfriend does, and he wasn't convinced either; we both agreed the overall taste was a bit underwhelming. Now for the duck salad. I'm a huge fan of duck in general (tender, crispy, etc), but when combined with the pears, chives, and a wonderfully delectable plum vinaigrette, I savoured every bite, and so did my boyfriend, as we looked at each other and nodded enthusiastically. Our fave of the meal! Next came the lamb kefta. I love lamb and was not expecting something this out of the ordinary. I was amazingly surprised by the complements of flavor following our wonderful waitress's suggestion: fill the pita with the filling (pickled red pepper and onion jam as well as labneh, mint, and pomegranate), take a bite, and then immediately sample the lamb. Wow! This plate took sweet and savory to another culinary level, and I eat lamb regularly. It was my favorite dish, second to the duck salad! At this point, we were getting pretty full, but it wasn't over yet: the much-awaited diver scallops were coming. Buttered and tender, though not particularly unique in comparison to other scallops I've had. Womp womp. Finally, the mushroom risotto: I have to say this was the most unique variation of any of the dishes we ordered. It was like having a bowl of warm grits on a cold winter morning, with a surprising truffled twist. We couldn't bear the thought of dessert after finishing with the richest course of them all. Overall, I'd love to come back for the octopus carpaccio, duck salad, lamb kefta, and mushroom risotto. Next time, we'll need to leave space for dessert. Thanks for the great experience including quick service, perfect spacing between courses, and the abundance of attention from the entire wait staff. ”
“ Minimalistic environment with indoor and outdoor seating. The door isn't clearly marked, but staff was readily available to help direct people. Dinner inside is beautiful but dining in the courtyard in October was the perfect weather. The only downside was mosquitos. The servers were friendly and the food was delicious. The cement table seemed to have some oil stains, but it added character to the tables. Street parking might not always be readily available but not impossible to find. (There are parking lots behind the store?) Bathroom is located outside of the restaurant. ”
